Chafford Park: a Kent wedding venue

I can’t believe I haven’t written about Chafford Park before! This gorgeous countryside wedding venue in Kent has so much to offer couples looking for a relaxed, beautiful and personal setting for their wedding day.

My relationship with Chafford Park began a couple of years ago when I took part in a styled shoot. The venue, part of Wonderland Weddings, was relatively new at the time, and the team were keen to showcase its beauty by welcoming wedding suppliers for styled shoots.

Following the shoot, I was invited to their first open day, and since then, I’ve built a wonderful relationship with the venue and its lovely events coordinator, Emilie.

As a wedding celebrant, I’m always excited to discover venues that truly lend themselves to personal, meaningful ceremonies, and Chafford Park is certainly one of them.

One of my favourite features is the panoramic window, which frames the surrounding countryside beautifully. Not only does it bring the outdoors into the reception space, but it also provides a stunning backdrop for photographs.

A beautiful meadow, lawn games and bell tent accommodation

Between the ceremony and reception spaces lies a gorgeous meadow bordered by wildflowers, adding to the relaxed, countryside feel of Chafford Park.

During the spring and summer months, this area is often set up for lawn games, making it a lovely spot for guests to mingle, enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere between the ceremony and evening celebrations.

I love spaces like this because they give your wedding day room to breathe. Your guests can wander, chat and enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed from one part of the day to the next.

Every time I visit Chafford Park, I’m reminded of why I enjoy working with this venue so much.
